My friends and I went to this place for dinner. The ambiance is great, they do have both booths/table settings for family style and right next to bar setting (easy to grab some drinks). We ordered guacamole as appetizers, Molcajete for 2 (big portions even had left overs for three people), and churros as desserts. Fresh guacamole is made at the site it was cool to see they to make it (depending on your spicy levels they can adjust it for you!). Molcajete all meats and veggies were fresh with beans and rice put in tortillas was definitely on the point! For desserts churros with vanilla ice cream were great choice. I recommend sitting indoors since the interiors and ambiance are pretty cool. Service was great too. Will visit again :)

Came here for the first time and Jose the bartender made me one of the best old fashions I've had. Split tequila/mezcal Dope. Still waiting on the food while at the bar so this review is purely on the drinks and service Would return a million times

I visited El Asadero Mexican Grill with friends for dinner. The restaurant has a ton of seating available and an attached walk through room for cocktails. The atmosphere is very colorful and vibrant. My friends and I loved that our food came out quickly, and our waitress was very attentive. As a group, we shared the Birria nachos. It was the perfect shareable size for a group of 3-4 people. We definitely loved that dish. My chicken fajitas were tasty, and came with a side of rice and refried beans. It was a great sized portion, so I needed to take home some leftovers! We ordered classic margaritas to go with our meals. My friends ordered tacos and really enjoyed them. Overall, the food delivered in taste and the service was great. Definitely worth a visit!

A fun and authentic Mexican restaurant in the heart of fort lee! We visited on a Friday at prime dinner time narrowly making it in time for happy hour. Margaritas are $7 and +$1 for flavor addition. Other good deals included beer and sangrias. We didn't wait for a table at all--seems like although the place was packed, they had plenty of seating. We ordered the guac (made tableside) which was a pretty good portion. we also ordered the molcajete and the steak quesadilla and all this was more than enough for 3 very hungry people. Service was great and very attentive! We'll definitely come back for happy hour and good Mexican food.

This place is taking Mexican food to the next level! The service is absolutely impeccable and the food is delicious, not to mention the drinks were very strong! Overall, I had an amazing time and let me tell you,I am very picky with Mexican food. My friend and I started out with lime and strawberry margaritas, on the rocks very good, delicious, and strong! We opted for the table size guacamole, which had an amazing presentation and was very tasty! Then I wanted to try the shrimp Tostones, and they absolutely were everything that I was looking for in an appetizer. On Wednesdays they have a steak dinner special that comes with mashed potatoes and a glass of wine, so we had that, and it was so good the steak was cooked perfectly! For dinner we were so full, but we actually had not one but two desserts, the brownie was my favorite! Super chocolatey, with a scoop of ice cream yum!
